Learning formats

The LACNIC Campus offers two online training formats to guarantee accessibility and the continuity of learning across the region.

Self-Study: This format allows students to access the contents of the courses at their own pace. Each participant will complete various modules which include theory and practice in the form of multimedia materials that will enhance their learning experience.

Courses offered in this format are provided entirely free of charge.

Tutor-Assisted: A specialist will guide participants through each module. Students will be able to use the discussion forum to communicate with the tutor and the rest of their classmates, as well as to ask any questions they may have regarding the theory or practical aspects covered by the different lessons. Under this format, each module will be open for a week and will then be closed progressively.

Courses in this format are offered at a fee.

In both formats, participants must take a final exam and score 70% or more in order to receive their certificate of completion.
